On the 23rd of June 2023, the World Armwrestling Federation celebrated the International Olympic Day during the African Continental Armwrestling & Para-Armwrestling Championships hosted in Accra Ghana between 21st and 23rd of June 2023.
The event bring together the best armwrestlers on the African continent. More than 350 competitors from 17 African countries battled for the Continental Championship title and for the qualification to the World Combat Games.
