WAF PUBLIC DISCLOSURE
The World Armwrestling Federation (WAF), reports that the sample of following athletes has returned an Adverse Analytical Finding (AAF) in connection with the 2023 antidoping testing program, in-competition, and out-of-competition. World Armwrestling & Para-Armwrestling Championships and out-of-competition testing for 2023.
As a consequence, the following athletes are provisionally suspended in view of a potential anti-doping rule violation:

Karsybayev Galymzhan – Kazakhstan
Umarov Ismatullo – Tajikistan
Rustamov Abror – Uzbekistan
2023 European Armwrestling & Para-Armwrestling Championships :
Argvliani Lia – Georgia
Shoshiashvili Arsena – Georgia
Dragovidis Georgios – Greece
Scuratov Vasilii – Moldova
Third party Anti Doping Organizations (ADOs) provisional suspended athletes for Armwrestling in 2023:

In any case where it is determined that the athlete did not commit an anti-doping rule violation, the relevant decision will also be published.
The WAF will not make any further comments on the case until it is closed.
