World Armwrestling Cup for Disabled, 19 -22.11.2017 – Rumia – Poland
From 19th to 22nd of November, the Polish town Rumia turned into the capital of armwrestling for disabled.
The World Armwrestling Cup for Disabled got together competitors from 16 countries and gave them the chance to prove their enormous will to win.
The championship was great organized and definitely made everybody believe in the high sport spirit of disabled athletes. It was held under the patronage of World Armwrestling Federation and all the disabled athletes competing were classified by The Classification Pannel of WAF.
The event was finalized by a visit to Gdansk, organized together with the local authorities of the town, for what we express our biggest gratitude and respect to them.
Gdansk proved that it is one of the most disability friendly cities by meeting all the requirements needed for disabled tourists.
WAF would like to officially thank all the competitors, all the parties included in the organization of this event and also the city halls of Rumia and Gdansk for giving the chance to our athletes to remember that no matter of their disabilities, they can live normal life, they can fight, they can win and they can feel the happiness and beauty of this life!
