Armwrestling mourns passing of one of their outstanding legend Andrey Pushkar.
It is with immeasurable sadness that WAF on Wednesday 14th of November 2018 confirmed the passing of Andrey Pushkar in a car accident. The horrible news was an immense shock, which has hit us all very hard. We can hardly believe this terrible news about the sudden death of Andrey Pushkar.
Pushkar has been a world class athlete competing all around the world, representing Ukraine and becoming an European and World champion. We will remember him as one of our own and for his outstanding sportsmanship on and off the armwrestling tables.
Armwrestling has lost a legend which will always be in our hearts.
We send our deepest condolences to his loved ones and we all mourn the true warrior, legend, friend, father, husband, world class champion, trainer, armwrestling lover, our family member and kind person ANDREY PUSHKAR.
The WAF expresses its deepest sympathies to Andrey Pushkar wife, children and family.
