Welcome to the 2026 WAF World Championships
The World Armwrestling Federation is proud to officially invite all WAF Member Federations to participate in the 47th World Armwrestling Championship and the 28th World Para Armwrestling Championship, to be held in New Delhi, India, from 26 October to 7 November 2026.
Hosted by the People’s Armwrestling Federation of India (PAFI), the Championships are expected to welcome more than 1,700 athletes, officials and supporters from over 60 countries, creating one of the largest international armwrestling events ever organized.
Below you will find the Official Championships Schedule, together with useful information about India and the host city of New Delhi, helping teams and visitors prepare for their journey to the world’s premier armwrestling event.
Important Information
The complete Invitation Package, including accommodation, transportation, visa procedures and booking information, has been distributed directly to all WAF Member Federations.
Athletes, coaches and supporters wishing to attend the Championships should contact their National WAF Member Federation, which is responsible for registrations, accommodation and all official championship arrangements.
