Education is the key component for preventing doping! The long-term solution is an effective prevention through educational programmes.

WAF strongly encourages all its participants to complete education to understand the rules that apply to them and to know their rights and responsibilities under the WAF Anti-Doping Program.

WADA’s Anti-Doping Education and Learning platform (ADEL) provides to the athletes, coaches, doctors, administrators, and participants with access to a wide range of education courses and information resources that can be used to support the delivery to clean sport and anti-doping.

On ADEL you can find:

  • eLearning
  • Resources for athletes
  • Resources for athlete support personnel
  • Quizzes
  • Videos
  • Webinars

And more!

*You can download Mobile App ‘ADEL by WADA’ which you can find from the iTunes or GooglePlay stores.

You are subject to the WAF Anti-Doping Rules if you participate in the sport of armwrestling as:

>> an athlete

>> an athlete support personnel (coach, trainer, physician, support personnel, a parent)

>> a sport administrator, a volunteer, or an official of an armwrestling club, national federation, etc. (director, staff, organiser etc.)

WAF requires for the athletes to complete the International-Level Athletes Education Program course through ADEL (hyperlink to ADEL) before any event listed on the WAF Calendar.

As of 01 January 2023, WAF requires for the coaches to complete the High-Performance Coaches’ Education Program course through ADEL (hyperlink to ADEL) before any event listed on the WAF Calendar.
